Beyond the Black ist eine Band, die aus mehreren Gr\u00fcnden bei uns schon seit Jahren auf unserer Wunschliste stand, bei der wir es bislang aber nie geschafft hatten, sie einmal vor unsere Kameras zu bekommen. Um so erfreuter waren wir, als feststand, dass sie im Radio BOB! Rockcamp auf der Kieler Woche 2022 am zweiten Tag auftreten sollten \u2013 also nix wie hin!<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Die Menge auf dem sehr gut gef\u00fcllten Areal (sp\u00e4ter ist es f\u00fcr weitere Interessierte geschlossen) wartet geduldig, bis um 21:30 die Ansage von der Moderation kommt \u2013 das hei\u00dft aber nicht, dass auch die Fotografen schon vor die B\u00fchne d\u00fcrfen. Erst l\u00e4uft noch \u201ePaint it Black\u201c von den Rolling Stones vom Band, dann taucht der Drummer auf und so nach und nach auch die anderen Bandmitglieder. Erst als SIE \u2013 Frontfrau und optisches Aush\u00e4ngeschild Jennifer Haben \u2013 erscheint, darf auch die Fotografenmeute vor die B\u00fchne. Keine Sekunde zu fr\u00fch, da die Band und vor allem Powerfrau Jennifer gleich mit mehr als 100% Power loslegen. Da gibt es kein \u201eWarming up\u201c und kein langes Begr\u00fc\u00dfungsgerede, es geht gleich in die Vollen. Der Sound ist selbst im Graben ok und das Licht wird allen Erwartungen gerecht: Etwas Nebel f\u00fcr die Backlights (manchmal auch etwas mehr als \u201eetwas\u201c) und ein Follower, der die B\u00fchnen-Choreographie kennt und fast immer dort hin leuchtet, wo es etwas Spannendes zu sehen gibt. Naturgem\u00e4\u00df konzentrieren sich die meisten Klicks meiner Kameras auf die Frontfrau aber es gibt auch sch\u00f6ne Szenen, in denen die Musiker miteinander interagieren. Drei Songs sind leider viel zu schnell vorbei, aber ich gehe mit einem breiten Grinsen im Gesicht aus dem Graben, weil ich wei\u00df, dass dort etwas geboten wird, was Publikum und Fotografen viel Freude bereitet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fazit: Nur f\u00fcr diesen Gig hat sich die Fahrt nach Kiel und zur\u00fcck gelohnt und so langsam stellt sich das alte Feeling von Konzertfotografie, die nicht nur Arbeit unter \u00e4rgerlichen Begleitumst\u00e4nden ist, sondern Spa\u00df macht, auch wieder ein.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
